The Aiersi Spanish Padauk guitar is constructed in the traditional style with African Padauk for its back and sides.
Speaking of African Padauk, it’s a rare tone wood that has a bright orange, vermillion, or almost crimson wood. Overtime it oxidizes to a darkish red or purplish brown. Slightly harder and heavier than the Indian Rosewood, it has a good back and side wood in all respects – stable, easy to work with a strong tone. Given its high density, it produces nice sustains, strong overtones and a good bass response.
The tonal palette of this guitar is wide and it’s a joy to hear the overtones and sustaining notes come out when played across the entire fretboard. This guitar is surprisingly loud and punchy; however, it still maintains note separation inspite of the long overtone and sustain.
Aiersi has not made any compromise in the quality of this guitar when it comes to the choice of the finest selection of all solid woods. The top is cedar of master grade quality and beautifully selected quarter swan African Padauk wood for its back and sides.
