The Yamaha C50 (1969) was made by Nippon Gakki Co. Ltd. Japan. It a wonderful and affordable preowned classical guitar. It has a Spruce top that has developed a nice patina over the last 50 years and the sound has matured to a nice full bodied tonal response. The back and sides seem like one piece of flat sawn Nato wood which has similar tonal properties to Mohagany.
The guitar is well maintained and setup by us at Intune Instruments, we have replaced the tuners, however, the original tuners have been packed in the case. Also installed by us is an Indian Rosewood armrest.
The sound of this guitar is much above its price tag and has sweet mellow tone and nice punchy bass response. The action of this guitar is very playable.
